Career Choices Expo 2008

For schools

Register your school for the Department of Education and Training's 12th annual Career Choices Expo at the Claremont Showground Exhibition Centre on Friday, 20 June to Sunday, 22 June 2007. You may notice venue has change from last year. Opening times are Friday, 9.00 am - 3.00 pm and Saturday/Sunday 10.00 am to 4.00 pm, and remember entry is FREE. Download the registration form.

As well as having access to a large number of organisations including training providers, TAFEWA colleges, universities and employers, students will also have the opportunity to participate in the Try-a-Trade activities. Try-a-Trade will enable students to gain hands-on experience in areas such as bricklaying, painting, cooking and vehicle mechanics.

With over 17,000 visitors last year (including over 6,000 students), we are sure you will want to book your school to attend . Register your school now to receive a Teachers' Pack to use for your visit to the Career Choices Expo and as invaluable career resource for your students.

Not able to attend?

If you are not able to bring your students, please encourage them to attend on the Saturday or Sunday. You may like to add this important date to your school newsletter and calendar, and your students can use this site to obtain the latest information on careers and occupations through links to Expo exhibitors, career development centres, and apprenticeship and traineeship websites.
